Elmer passed away Feb 4, 2001 with lung cancer. He had a great life filled with racing cars, serving his country, family, friends, golf, work and riding motorcycles.

Elmer Lee Smith aka Token

Elmer was born in 1932 in Surgonsville, TN and was a great person. He joined the Navy in 1952 and stayed until 1956. He then got married around 1959 and had two children. He lived in Florida from 1963-1976 and then moved to China Lake California in 1976 where he worked and played golf. He did it all, flew planes (small ones), raced cars, rode motorcycles, played golf, very well and many other hobbies including star gazing and chess. We miss you Pop! He now has 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
